Eyes of GoldAn old man said
there was a time
when wolves had eyes
of gold and fangs of iron
and men were strong
yet fearful of the world
god put around him.

A young man sees
no wolves at all
for iron fangs decorate
his halls and gold fills
his eyes while the world
feels fear and god is
nowhere to be found.

Lonelinessthis enemy is not one that I can fight
it can't be overcome with even supernatural might
invisible and breathless it strikes from inside
from it's cold constant talons my heart cannot hide
it is close to despair yet far greater still
I can resist it no longer for I have not the will
soon it shall claim me, I will curl up and die
like a flower in winter, under a malevolent sky.

HollowEmptiness echoes within me
should there be a soul,
a feeling? anger, love, hate, joy,
anything? but not nothing,
not nothing. that elusive something
which makes us all alike and different,
an elemental component
essential to community,
fellowship.
Is experiencing emotion,
even fleetingly enough?
enough to fool my fellow man?
enough to fool myself?

The Roadlong is the road I walk
it stretches on for no other
dust blows through me and clings
like fond memories to my clothes
rain falls with the years
washing them away
until I have nothing left
nothing but the path before me
and regrets slumping my shoulders
those I meet along the way
stop me to lend solace
their kind faces reflect my loss
and so I must move on
step by step my journey takes me
moving ever forward
but always looking back
at those I've left behind

i have mixed feeling s towards this guy... in one hand really cool stance, colors, configuration but it really doesn't have the wow-effect on me! But gj nevertheless

I had a lot of conflicted ideas whilst painting this guy, but I'm happy with the end result. He looks really good on the grass/green of the battle field and his height gives him the effect of looming over other models like he's just swooped in for the kill.
